Donations, Charity and PayPal

I've seen many different sites seeking charity donations. Some show pictures of poor children or give you a story of how life is difficult being handicapped. While I am a caring person, I tend to avoid these sites as there is no real way to know if they are legitimate (aside from doing a lot of research, or seeing if the site is affiliated with a real charity.).

However, having said that....asking for money on the web, the equivalent of begging seems to be growing..and not to lose out on this revenue, please donate to me - I need to send twins to college *grin* - or at least buy myself a nice new sports car for my one hundred mile commute!

****NOTE**** The above is a tongue in cheek request - obviously I will not turn down any donations, but I am not actively seeking them - I don't feel there is a market for this type of thing, but am experimenting to see if people are generous.

I actually do have twins to send to college next year - but I am not relying on your donations to help me!! ***Don't suppose a puppy dog look would help here? It works when my daughter's use it***
